The Tournament Players Club Golf Course hosts the Phoenix Open in January, and the Golf Club at Desert Mountain hosts the Tradition at Desert Mountain Senior PGA Tournament in April. Summer rates at the public courses begin as low as $34, and winter rates begin at $95 per round. Tee times are as early as 6:00 a.m. in the summer and 7:30 a.m. in the winter. It's a good idea to call way ahead for tee times, as many of the top ranked courses are booked weeks in advance.
